Kody Davidson loves editing and everything that it encompasses. He admires the storytelling and human connection that editing brings into his life. The buttons and gadgets thrill Kody and make it hardly seem like work. Believing that creative editing needs a technical backbone he is confident that he can bring both together in his work. Kody is passionate about post production and will provide services that are creative, technically sound and, accurately delivered, in any format.

Avid's Media Composer is Kody's go to editing system with Script-Sync.
Davinci Resolve
Skill Level: Proficient
Kody has skills using Davinci Resolve as both a colour correction and grading tool and as an on-line tool. His knowledge of workflows come in handy whenever a production needs a serious colour application.
Adobe Premiere Pro
Skill Level: Certified Expert
Kody has been using Premiere Pro for 8 years, starting in CS3.
Final Cut Pro X
Skill Level: Intermediate
Kody has formal training in Final Cut Pro X from his time at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Beyond that Kody also knows Final Cut Pro 7.
Mac Caption
Skill Level: Proficient
Kody knows how to use Mac Caption and Caption Maker to embed 608/708 captioning for your broadcast projects. He also has experience using the program to create subtitling for DCP's, Netflix and YouTube.

Skill Level: Expert
Video codecs excite Kody. H.264, VP9, R3D, MPEG2, DNxHD/HR, ProRes, CineForm, even tape formats such as Digital Beta Cam and HDCam.

The Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) certification is the industry-recognized validation of one's proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. This certification requires in-depth knowledge of design elements when preparing video, editing video sequences, refining the visual and audio portions of a project, as well as experience with Adobe Media Encoder and editing in a professional environment.

Kody graduated the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology Radio and Television program in 2014.
Kody is a dual citizen to the USA and Canada giving him the ability to work and move around in both countries freely.
